Job Description
The Sales Ops Support Specialist is responsible for providing efficient and consistent support throughout the sales process for the Japan market, ensuring operational alignment across customer‑facing teams in Japan and the US. This role acts as a liaison between Japan and US Sales Operations and Project Management teams, supporting project coordination, CRM user support, order processing, and bilingual communication in Japanese and English. The Specialist will support the end‑to‑end Japan order process, assist with Salesforce and Marketo user support tasks, and provide translation support for sales and marketing materials. This position requires fluency in Japanese and English and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross‑functional environment.
Responsibilities:- Recommend and help implement process improvements related to Japan sales workflows, systems, and documentation.
- Act as an operational liaison between Japan Sales Operations, Japan Sales, and US Sales Operations teams to ensure alignment on processes and priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues in Japan and the US to support smooth collaboration in a multicultural environment.
- Collaborate with Accounting and other departments on billing, invoicing, and order related accounting tasks for Japan customers.
- Coordinate communication for cross-border projects and initiatives impacting the Japan market, escalating issues and sharing updates with relevant stakeholders.
- Document project activities, milestones, and change requests related to Japan sales initiatives in project management or CRM systems.
- Build and deploy emails and campaigns in the marketing automation system.
- Assist with gathering stakeholder feedback and supporting project plans to ensure timely implementation of key initiatives in the Japan market.
- Other activities to support our global sales capabilities.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2–3 years of related work experience in Sales Support, Business Operations, Project Coordination, or a similar role.
- Experience working in a global or multicultural organization preferred.
Skills Required:
- Fluent in Japanese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages. (Japanese/English bilingual fluency is a permitted bona fide occupational requirement for this cross-border liaison role. - Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, or similar CRM platforms for data entry, reporting, and basic administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Working knowledge of PowerPoint is preferred.
- Working knowledge of collaboration tools such as Slack and email platforms (e.g., Outlook).
- Ability to interact effectively with people from different cultures and build sustainable relationships of trust through open, interactive communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Excellent research, writing, and organization skills
- Motivated, well organized, detail-oriented, and flexible in adapting to changing priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting sales order processes and customer lifecycle workflows, ideally for Japan or other APAC markets
- Experience with translation/localization workflows and tools such as Crowdin
- Experience participating in or supporting project management activities, including documentation and status tracking
- Experience using Marketo Engage to build campaigns, emails, and reporting
- Experience using Wrike or other project management tools to track tasks, milestones, and cross-functional work

Compensation Details:- Annual Salary Range: ¥6,500,000 – ¥7,500,000 (gross, based on experience and qualifications)
- Wage Calculation: Method Monthly fixed salary
- Payment Method: Bank transfer to the employee's designated financial institution account, paid in full and directly to the worker
- Bonuses: Annual performance bonus average is 4.2% of base salary, calculated based on company revenues

- Overtime: Overtime may be required based on business needs. Compensated at statutory premium rates: 25% for standard overtime; 50% for hours exceeding 60/month; 25% additional for night work (10 PM–5 AM); 35% for statutory days off
- Overtime Annual Cap: Maximum 360 hours/year standard; up to 720 hours/year under special circumstances
- Scheduled Days Off: Saturdays, Sundays, and Japanese national public holidays

Leave and Benefits- Annual Paid Leave: 10 days granted after 6 months of continuous employment; increases with tenure to a maximum of 20 days at 6.5+ years (Article 39, Labor Standards Act)[^5]
