The Sales Operations & Support Analyst is an entry-level professional responsible for driving alignment, efficiency, and execution across all Vertiv SIOP functions. This position serves as a strategic bridge between Field Sales and key cross-functional teams—including Supply Chain, Logistics, Offering Management, Legal, Finance, and Accounting—to ensure seamless deal execution, operational scalability, and revenue growth.

This role plays a critical part in optimization of sales processes, tools, and governance frameworks to improve forecasting accuracy, pricing integrity, contract compliance, and order fulfillment. The individual will enable the sales organization with actionable insights, standardized procedures and policy, and training programs while ensuring alignment with operational capabilities and financial objectives.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, process-driven, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of sales operations, supply chain dynamics, and financial objectives. This position plays a critical role in scaling the business, enhancing customer experience, and influencing predictable, profitable growth. The successful candidate will work across every Route to Market, Line of Business, Selling Motion, and Business Units regularly.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support project management for larger projects.
  • Assist Leadership in Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Support Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly reporting requirements.
  • Follow up on opportunities with Local Vertiv Offices.
  • Update opportunity status in OSC.
  • Track order status, provide ship dates and request for an expedite.
  • Work with Pricing and Finance Teams.
  • Work with Vertiv Legal on terms and purchasing agreements.
  • Work with IMS Team on sales cycle processes.
  • Manage pipeline mapping and key opportunity milestones.
  • Work with order management team for Return Good Authorization (RGA) and Mis-shipment requests.
  • Work with Local Offices on Buy/Resale orders and procedures per Policy 138.
  • Assist Leadership on SP1/SP2/BSP submissions and commission claiming for Policy 119 products.
  • Assist Leadership with demand planning inputs.
  • Work across teams on forecasting procedures and accuracy.
  • Performs any reporting activity or task assigned by immediate supervisor as needed, or in fulfilment of and in relation to essential functions.
  • Analyze and form resolutions to recurring issues with regards to assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferably in customer service, order processing, sales support, or administrative support roles.
  • Service industry experience is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience in a professional, analytical, or technical support role may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Smartsheet preferred.
  • Familiarity with Oracle/EBS systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work with large data sets, generate reports, and utilize data visualization tools.
  • Strong data analysis skills with high attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to navigate configuration tools, internal databases, and system documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Professional and customer-oriented approach to internal and external interactions.
  • Strong phone and email etiquette with good interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present information meaningfully.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to take ownership of tasks through completion.
  • Collaborative team player who contributes to shared goals and supports a high-performance culture.
  • Flexible and willing to provide backup support and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on moderately complex tasks.
