About the Role

Ready to get behind the engine that drives real business growth? Join ShopBack Pay as a Sales Operations & Strategy Intern, where you’ll work at the core of our Business Development team, powering how we acquire, grow, and retain merchant partners.

Your Adventure Ahead

  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate high-quality leads to expand ShopBack Pay’s merchant base
  • Merchant Engagement: Monitor and engage inactive merchants to reduce dormancy and unlock growth opportunities
  • Performance Optimisation: Support initiatives to grow merchant performance and improve sales effectiveness
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Use AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and increase team productivity
  • End-to-End Exposure: Gain hands-on experience across the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting to onboarding and growth

Essentials to Succeed

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related fields
  • Strong interest in business development, strategy, and partnerships
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with precision and attention to detail
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience leveraging Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Cursor) to improve workflows and productivity
