This role provides administrative support to the business development and Sales team and works cross-functionally with underwriting, jeweler programs and sales team members. This role is crucial in day-to-day execution and keeping our department running smoothly.

Here, you’ll:

  • Responsible for maintaining and perfecting key contact information for jewelers, agents, and industry organizations within SalesForce, GuideWire, and Agency Management systems.
  • Continually reviews SalesForce processes as subject matter expert within sales and other departments in an effort to improve efficiencies.
  • Process agency agreements, terminations, and agency changes within SalesForce, GuideWire, and Agency Management systems as needed within the General Agency.
  • Assist in coordinating profit sharing agreements and incentives, tracking, and communication to agents.
  • Assist in due diligence and implementation of mergers and acquisitions as needed.
  • Field incoming phone calls for commercial insurance leads, agency appointments, supply requests, and general agent/jeweler inquires as needed.
  • Enter and assign incoming commercial leads (phone, email, web, tradeshow sources).
  • Monitor assigned email inboxes and distribute to the appropriate team members.
  • Process jeweler program and Care Plan enrollments.
  • Assist in keeping Care Plan records and jeweler program contacts current.
  • Distribute program compensation statements.
  • Compile contact lists for marketing efforts.
  • Organize meetings and distribute minutes to team members as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

  • High school diploma required, Associates degree preferred
  • Must have two years of related experience; experience supporting a sales team (or similar fast-paced environment) is preferred
  • Must have at least intermediate-level experience with MS Office Suite
  • Salesforce experience is preferred
  • Must be a self – starter who can work independently and without direct supervision
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities and be comfortable with deadlines
  • Must have excellent skills with paying attention to details
  • Must be inquisitive and comfortable asking questions
  • Must be a team player
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls; and talk or hear.
