About us
Benmax has been family-owned and operated since 1986, built on a straightforward philosophy: do the right thing, deliver quality work, and treat people well. With more than 200 people across Australia, we have grown into one of the country's most trusted mechanical services and HVAC businesses, taking on some of the most complex projects in the industry. We are now scaling rapidly to support a major AI-infrastructure rollout spanning multiple domestic and international sites, and we are building the supply chain function that underpins the program.
About the role
The Sales & Operations Planning Lead sits at the centre of the supply chain function, responsible for ensuring the program runs to plan. This is a forward-looking role that demands analytical discipline, sound judgement, and the ability to provide a clear and credible picture of what needs to happen, and when, so the business can make good decisions with confidence.
You will own the demand versus supply plan and the master schedule, and you will need to be equally comfortable working through the detail of a planning model and presenting a forward view to senior leadership.
In the early phase, the role involves personally tracking supplier commitments and expediting critical items while the planning discipline is established. As the function matures, that execution work will be distributed and the focus will shift entirely to forward-looking planning and control. We are seeking a candidate with genuine planning rigour, strong analytical capability, and the judgement to know when to escalate and when to act.
