Xpansiv is seeking a Summer Sales Operations Intern to support our Sales organization by identifying and implementing high‑impact opportunities to improve sales productivity through AI and automation. This internship will focus on leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365 tools, and explore other tools, to streamline key sales activities to leverage productivity and close more deals.
The intern will work closely with Sales and Sales Operations stakeholders to assess existing workflows, identify practical AI use cases, and translate those opportunities into repeatable prompts, playbooks, and enablement materials that can be adopted by the sales team. This is a hands‑on, execution‑oriented role designed for a motivated student interested in applying emerging AI capabilities to real‑world business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze current sales workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity gains through AI and automation
Partner with Sales and Sales Operations teams to understand day‑to‑day processes and pain points
Design and document practical AI‑enabled use cases, including sample prompts, workflows, and lightweight playbooks using Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 tools
Support pilot initiatives and help assess impact, usability, and adoption
Develop clear, user‑friendly documentation and guidance to support sales enablement and change adoption
Assist with additional sales operations, reporting, or analysis projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate student in business, information systems, data analytics, computer science, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); exposure to Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools is a plus
Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, and improving business productivity
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
Collaborative mindset, learning agility, and a results‑oriented approach
Compensation:
The anticipated hourly pay range for this internship is $20–$25 per hour for undergraduate students and $30–$35 per hour for graduate‑level students, based on a good‑faith estimate. Actual pay within these ranges may vary based on academic level, skills, and relevant experience, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.
