The main objective of this role is to manage the beta and full launch of products, utilizing quantitative and qualitative data, ensuring that the planning and allocation of assets align with budget and strategic initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the launch of new products by ensuring appropriate master data setup, monitoring incoming inventory, and managing outflows of inventory to planned commercial targets.
  • Advanced understanding of system configurations for assigned product groups.
  • Identify gaps between demand and supply plan and drive action to resolve.
  • Communicates with Product Management, Sales and Field Operations to identify potential gaps in forecast.
  • Provide approval for allocation of constrained inventory to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Gain commercial insights into where limited inventory should be distributed.
  • Promptly and accurately respond to ad hoc sales and inventory reporting requests.
  • Provide visibility of new product launches to internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate changes to the distribution plan with domestic stakeholders and international subsidiaries.
  • Assist in creation of KPIs and Metrics for product launches.
  • Identify lessons learned from previous product launches and implement into future product launches.
  • Validate international set configurations based off of domestic benchmark.

Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance or Supply Chain
  • Experience in S&OP, Supply Chain, demand or inventory experience preferred
  • Experience in S&OP functional area within the Medical Device or similar industry is preferred

Skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Able to generate non-complex financial or inventory-related analysis
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

Knowledge of creation and interpretation of Business Process Mapping.

Reasoning Ability:

Provides routine analysis of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.

Discretion/Latitude:

Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions and specific direction.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Vizio. Power-Bi, SAP-ERP software management, Fax; Scanner.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
