Job Overview
The Sales Operations Coordinator is a vital role to the flow of information and goods across a food manufacturing enterprise. The role engages with customers for order processing, and resolution for order maintenance, while also converting all received orders to a production planning model, invoicing for payment, and support of the supply chain to meet customer delivery requirements that best utilize the company’s production capacity.  This position is fast paced, requires quick decision making and the ability to adapt to new challenges each day.
Job Duties
Primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Interacts with customers regarding forecasts, orders, order modifications, and fulfillment concerns. Customer resolution and order confirmation occurs daily.
- Interfaces with operations supervisors and managers on material status and production issues affecting order fulfillment. Ensures customer is aware if any order is not shipped in full and on time
- Processes incoming purchase orders from customers, confirms delivery dates and coordinates with logistics for outbound delivery appointments to customers.
- Creates the daily production schedule based on customer orders to assist warehouse, production, and logistics planning.
- Creates BOL’s for outbound Shipping and reconciles orders, trucks, and deliveries prior to truck departures.  Reconciles delivery discrepancies and creates final invoices for billing.  Communicates delivery status to customers and helps manage outbound delivery delays.
- Create various reports and tools to support order fulfillment for Production, Warehouse, Shipping, Quality Assurance, Production Control, etc.
- Ensures accuracy for all pricing and communicates price changes for all customers, as provided by leadership.
- Complete various data logs integral to maintaining supply chain performance indicators.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives and provide general support to PPO as needed.
Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience and understanding of supply chain software similar to SAP, ability to learn independent ERP system management, experience in JustFood, desirable.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and ability to exercise independent judgment
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in problem identification and resolution and ability to generate clear/concise reports indicating key issues to management/ department heads
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

Qualifications

Qualifications
- BS Degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred
- Experience in lieu of education is acceptable

The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
