About the Role


This is a hands-on execution role for someone with strong sales operations instincts and an analytical mindset — pipeline tracking, data hygiene, deal insights, forecasting support, and process efficiency. The role also provides operational support to partnership and alliance initiatives as a secondary responsibility. What You'll Do & The Impact You'll Have


Sales Operations & Pipeline Management (Core)

  • Own and

    maintain

    the sales pipeline tracker — ensuring accuracy, completeness, and CRM hygiene

    at all times

    .

  • Support weekly sales cadence by collecting pipeline updates, tracking lead status and stage progression, and flagging stale deals or data gaps.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly pipeline reports, forecast summaries, and conversion analyses for sales leadership.

  • Coordinate across sales, presales, and delivery teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment.

  • Build and

    maintain

    dashboards that give clear visibility into pipeline health, win rates, and deal velocity.

  • Work in close coordination with the Partnership Ops team to ensure all active deals are accurately and consistently reflected at both ends — no discrepancies between CRM and AWS Partner Central (ACE) entries.

Deal Insights & Business Analysis (Core)

  • Go beyond tracking —

    analyze

    pipeline data to surface meaningful insights on deal health, stage progression, and likelihood to close.

  • Identify

    patterns in won/lost deals and provide actionable commentary to help the sales team course correct.

  • Flag deals that are at risk due to inactivity, missed follow-ups, or unusual stage durations, and escalate proactively.

  • Provide

    deal-level insights to sales managers — highlighting which deals need attention, which are moving well, and where bottlenecks exist.

  • Support opportunity reviews and QBRs with structured data analysis and clear visualizations.

  • Build simple scoring or prioritization frameworks to help the sales team focus on the right deals at the right time.

  • Track and

    analyze

    leading indicators (meeting activity, proposal submissions, response times) alongside pipeline metrics.

  • Sales Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce regular sales performance reports (pipeline coverage, conversion rates, deal aging, team activity).

  • Assist

    in quota tracking and attainment reporting.

  • Prepare clear, concise summaries and visualizations for weekly sales reviews and leadership updates.

  • Support ad hoc analysis requests from sales leadership (e.g., segment performance, campaign ROI, lead source analysis).

  • Translate data into plain-language narratives that non-technical stakeholders can act on.

Process Automation & Efficiency

  • Identify

    repetitive manual processes across sales operations and implement simple automation solutions.

  • Build and

    maintain

    automated trackers, dashboards, and workflows.

  • Automate routine reporting (weekly pipeline updates, conversion metrics, activity summaries).

  • Continuously improve data collection and reporting processes to improve accuracy and turnaround time.

Sales Enablement Coordination

  • Support planning and execution of enablement sessions for sales teams on internal tools, processes, and programs.

  • Prepare easy-to-understand summaries, cheat sheets, and process guides for sales teams.

  • Track participation, feedback, and effectiveness of sessions

Partnership & AWS Operations Support (Secondary)

  • Assist

    with day-to-day management of AWS Partner Central and ACE (AWS Customer Engagements) entries.

  • Maintain

    trackers for funding applications (PoC, MDF, etc.) and ensure status logs are up to date.

  • Support certification tracking across teams — sending reminders and following up on completion targets.

  • Assist

    in compiling inputs for the AWS Partner Overview Deck, Marketplace listings, and SDP submissions.

  • Maintain a central repository of partnership-related documents, case studies, and credentials.


Requirements


What You'll Bring to the Table


Must-Have Skills:


  • 1–3 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, business analysis, or CRM management roles.

  • Strong

    proficiency

    in Excel or Google Sheets — pivot tables, dashboards, and data cleaning are must-haves.

  • Experience

    maintaining

    CRM data (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).

  • Analytical mindset — able to look at pipeline data and draw meaningful, actionable conclusions.

  • Comfortable building simple frameworks, scorecards, or prioritization models to support sales decision-making.

  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple trackers and reporting cycles simultaneously.
