The role
As a Sales Operations and Logistics Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient planning, allocation, ordering, and delivery of vehicles across the market. Acting as the bridge between local teams, logistics partners, retailers, and our European headquarters, you will oversee end-to-end sales operations and logistics processes to ensure the right vehicles reach the right customers at the right time.
This is what you will do:
Sales Operations & Logistics
Own volume planning, forecasting, and order management processes for the market.
Manage vehicle allocation, VIN matching, VIN reallocation, and internal fleet operations in close collaboration with central Sales Operations teams.
Ensure efficient vehicle availability and distribution through a 3R approach: delivering the right car, at the right time, in the right location.
Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify opportunities to optimize stock and delivery performance.
Coordinate logistics activities with local partners and the central logistics organization to ensure seamless vehicle flows.
Order & Delivery Management
Facilitate clear communication regarding order statuses, vehicle availability, and delivery timelines.
Ensure fast and accurate order processing and execution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers, suppliers, and key operational partners.
Act as the primary liaison between the local market and the European headquarters, ensuring alignment and smooth operational processes.
Retail Operations Support
Support vehicle registration processes and sales funnel management activities.
Develop, monitor, and report on operational KPIs and sales performance metrics.
Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to support business decision-making.
Collaborate closely with local sales teams and central sales operations to improve operational performance and customer experience.
Product & Pricing Support
Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to support product strategy.
Provide recommendations regarding product positioning, features, accessories, and trim levels to ensure a competitive market offering.
Conduct trim-walk analyses, price ladder assessments, price index benchmarking, and competitive analyses.
Monitor relevant government regulations, EV incentives, and policy developments impacting the market.
Collaborate with the central Product & Pricing team to optimize local product and pricing strategies.
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:
5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Planning, Logistics, or Supply Chain, preferably within automotive or a related industry.
Proven experience with forecasting, order management, inventory planning, and logistics coordination.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights.
Experience managing KPIs, reporting, and sales performance metrics.
Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across international teams.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP, CRM, or sales operations systems.
Solid understanding of market dynamics, product positioning, and competitive analysis.
A proactive, hands-on mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
