We're looking for a Sales & Marketing Senior Account Executive (f/m/d) to support the delivery of sales and marketing activity for our clients, with primary responsibility for a Spanish-speaking destination client.
Your Mission
You will support the successful delivery of client sales and marketing programmes by:
- Raising the profile of client destinations.
- Supporting the achievement of sales and marketing objectives.
- Building and maintaining strong client and industry relationships.
- Delivering day-to-day campaign activity to a high standard.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of company destinations, clients and relevant sales and marketing techniques.
- Manage day-to-day activities across assigned client campaigns in collaboration with the Account
- Manager/Senior Account Manager.
- Respond to trade and consumer enquiries by email and telephone.
- Research and analyse market activity to support client objectives and strategies.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of sales missions, familiarisation trips, trade training seminars, workshops and events, both in person and virtually.
- Monitor account activity to help maximise sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tourism partners and other industry contacts.
- Support the delivery of digital marketing campaigns.
- Assist with researching and preparing new business proposals.
- Attend client meetings and act as the secondary day-to-day client contact where appropriate.
- Represent the company and clients at meetings, networking events and industry functions.
- Keep up to date with market developments, client activity and industry trends through ongoing research.
- Translate German/English reporting, creatives and other texts into Spanish language.
Your Profile:
- Degree qualified, ideally in tourism management, sales, marketing or a related discipline.
- At least two years' experience in sales or marketing.
- Previous experience in the travel and tourism industry is desirable.
- Flexible, proactive and organised, with a can-do attitude.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English. Spanish language skills would be an advantage.
- Able to manage competing priorities, work to deadlines and thrive both independently and as part of a team.
