Job Descriptions

• Support the Marketing Director in developing and managing distributors and importers across Southeast Asia and the Middle East, including customer communication, quotations, sample arrangements, order processing, and after-sales support.
  
• Travel within Malaysia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East as required for customer visits, distributor management, market development, trade exhibitions, and business meetings.
• 
  Handle export documentation, contract administration, order tracking, shipping coordination, and end-to-end order fulfillment processes.
  
• 
  Assist with marketing activities, trade exhibitions, customer visits, market intelligence gathering, and competitor analysis.
  
• 
  Support halal compliance processes by preparing JAKIM-related documentation, halal certification records, export certificates, and customs clearance documents.
  
• 
  Maintain sales reports, business data analysis, inventory tracking, and coordination between headquarters and factory operations.
  
• 
  Manage English-language business correspondence, document translation, and cross-functional communication, while supporting the implementation of marketing and sales initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Experience in the halal food industry is preferred.
  
• 
  Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Marketing, Business Administration, Food Science, or related fields.
  
• 
  Up to 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or international trade within the food, seasoning, or food ingredients industry. Experience in Southeast Asian and/or Middle Eastern markets is an advantage.
  
• 
  Fluent in written and spoken English, with good working proficiency in Malay Mandarin language skills are preferred.
  
• 
  Familiar with export sales administration, order management, shipping documentation, and international trade processes.
  
• 
  Detail-oriented, responsible, execution-focused, and willing to travel frequently for business purposes.
  
• 
  Supportive of halal-compliant business practices, able to work effectively within a team structure, and committed to long-term career development in international food export markets.

Location: Malaysia

Salary Range: RM8,000 - 18,000
