Sales & Marketing Operations - Manager, MIS Team

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Manager (Level K) to lead the Sales & Marketing Operations MIS (Management Information Systems) team based in Renton, Washington.

The Sales Ops MIS Manager will possess a variety of leadership skills necessary to collaborate effectively across Sales & Marketing and with adjacent stakeholders. They will develop and lead a cohesive team to drive the operating rhythm from leadership through regional selling teams. BCA Sales & Marketing Ops is looking for a leader who will energize their team members to pursue excellence and continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities:

    • Manage a diverse team of individual contributors across 4 unique sales support functions (MIS, Regional Operations, Training, and Facilities)
    • Partner with IT teams to warehouse, synthesize, analyze, and deliver data to support BCA Sales & Marketing
    • Establish and run BCA Sales & Marketing’s operating rhythm and senior leadership meetings
    • Build corporate presentation (BOD, BCA Leadership Team, ExCo)
    • Project manage, develop presentation content, and execute all-team Sales & Marketing Offsites, Town Halls, and Training events
    • Perform data analysis to support Sales & Marketing leadership decision making and ad hoc requests.
    • Ensure leadership has briefing materials for corporate and customer meetings.
    • Establish yearly imperatives (goals) and track progress via performance metrics
    • Compile, track, and manage airshow sales announcements, and support the onsite execution of public/media and private sales announcements with Comms and Customer Relations
    • Build Salesforce processes and data visualizations to track and aggregate real-time campaign status
    • Manage crises, customer communications, and urgent business needs with composure, speed, and accuracy (ex. aircraft incidents/issues, tariffs, geopolitical, COVID, etc)
    • Project manage facilities and work environment requirements for BCA Sales & Marketing as well as for the 10-20 building as needed
    • Establish and lead a cohesive operating rhythm from organizational leadership through regional operations into the sales regions.
    • Oversight of training initiatives including professional development, technical development and new employee orientation.
    • Champions and models Boeing’s values and behaviors.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
    • 3+ years of experience working cross-functional teams
    • Completion (or acceptance into) the Boeing-internal course “Exploring Leadership”
    • Experience facilitating meetings and presenting-to senior leadership
    • Experience balancing multiple competing priorities and work streams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 3+ years of experience with Sales & Marketing of Boeing products/services
    • 3+ years of experience in the airline and/or aviation industry experience
    • Experience using digital tools such as Teams, Salesforce, Quip, Tableau
