Job Description

Sales Manager/Director Responsibility:

  • Pursue all potential sales for the company's membrane products associated with water, wastewater opportunities (mainly UF, RO, NF, MBR products), and other applications for China.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to gain new profitable business through key account management, contact management, corporate account management, pursuing assigned sales leads, and individual lead development.
  • Develop relationships within the territory by interfacing with OEMs, distributors, design institutions, end-users, and market associations.

    Pursue project (bid and specification) opportunities, coordinate the quotation process with appropriate Wilmington, MA USA (Home Office) personnel, and collaborate with colleagues on major project activities and strategies.
  • Complete required written communication (including call reports, prospect reports, and customer reports) and verbal communication with the home office as necessary for the preparation of proposals, quotations, processing orders, warranty claims, and general information as required.

    Travel as necessary but expected to be in the range of 5075%. May require some international travel from time to time.


    Work Experience/Skills Required:
  • Proven record in Key Account Development sales achievement.

    Proven adept at promoting ideas and proposals, persuasively negotiating win-win solutions, and solution-based selling.

    Demonstrate strong achievement orientation and set high personal standards

    Work experience/skills preferred
  • 5+ years of experience selling water and wastewater membrane products/systems. Knowledge of crossflow membrane technology and its applications. Sales experience to OEMs and end customers and an understanding of industrial water & wastewater needs. MBR membrane sales experiences and performance are highly preferred. Knowledge of UF, RO, & MBR membrane technology, applications, systems, and markets.

    Education / Certification Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Equivalent (Open to local talents in Shanghai only)
