The opportunity
The Sales Manager for Transformers business, For Eastern Region brings the knowledge for Transformer products & have skills for effective Marketing and sales for Transformers product portfolio. This will be a leadership role & he will be a team lead, his role will include time bound actions to meet customer requirements for bids and quotations, associated technical and commercial details in response to market needs in close collaboration with Business Marketing and technical teams. The main objective of the role will include setting right ambitions for order intake budget each year and put an effective action plan to achieve the same.
How you’ll make an impact
Key Accountability: Orders for each product line for transformers, orders to meet factory loading with right product mix.
Estimation of markets, target markets and budgets. Ensure their achievement of set targets / budget through regular monitoring, supporting and guiding sales team and getting right support from business marketing and factory teams throughout the year.
Develop and implements annual marketing plans in conjunction with business unit/product group. Prepare business plans focused on business development for a defined market to increase penetration.
Working in co-ordination with Territory, Segment, account managers to deliver desired results.
Manages teams with a focus on short/medium-term order growth plan and goals. Drive the Team with direction to achieve their individual targets.
Support business to ensure planned revenue. Responsible for revenue payment Collection as per Forecast.
Reporting leads, opportunities in necessary tools like SFDC and updating continuously.
Address customer complaints to be resolved systematically using tools like CCRP.
Representing the team’s performance at management meetings with complete ownership
Making human resource planning, selection, development, and performance of the team. Resource Management including utilizing individual subject matter expertise

Your background
Should have bachelor’s degree in engineering. A master’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering is a plus.
12 to 15 years of experience in Product Marketing / Sales /Business development (Preferably of Transformer products) or Transformer Electrical Engineering / and/or Project Manager, preferably associated with transformer businesses and in team leader role.
The person in this role should have strong technical skills, in addition to the marketing experience.
Intercultural sensitiveness is required, with good communication skills in oral and written
Experience in change management, coaching, motivating, and developing diverse sales team
Be willing to travel ~40%
