About the Role
Were hiring a Sales Manager to lead and grow sales in
traditional trade channels for a well-established international brand in the consumer tools and equipment sector Youll be
responsible for driving revenue growth through wholesalers, small retailers,
and regional distributors across Thailand. The role involves strategic sales
execution, team leadership, customer management, and close collaboration with
internal stakeholders.
This is a key
leadership role for someone with strong sales experience in power tools, hand tools, home appliances, or
similar product categories.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Target Setting
- Develop and implement sales
strategies tailored to traditional trade channels
- Set and manage sales targets
across local and regional retail markets
- Track market share and
identify opportunities for growth
2. Team Leadership
- Supervise a team of sales
reps and account managers
- Coach and develop the team to
enhance product knowledge and performance
- Conduct performance reviews
and guide improvement plans
3. Customer & Channel Management
- Manage relationships with
retailers, wholesalers, and distributors
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and
trading agreements
- Resolve customer issues
effectively to ensure retention and satisfaction
4. Sales Reporting & Insights
- Analyze sales performance and
market trends
- Deliver regular reports and
forecasts to senior management
- Recommend data-driven
solutions to improve results
5. Market Development
- Identify new channel partners
and opportunities for expansion
- Lead trade show activities
and product demos
- Support marketing efforts to
boost product visibility in stores
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with logistics,
finance, and marketing teams
- Share customer feedback with
product development for continuous improvement
Requirements
- 510 years of experience in
sales/channel management within traditional hardware or consumer
durable goods
- Proven background in managing
tools,
home appliances,
or similar products
- Strong knowledge of
retail/distributor networks in Thailand
- Intermediate English (spoken
and written)
- BA degree preferred
- Excellent negotiation,
communication, and leadership skills
- Must have a stable employment
history (no job-hopping)
