Why This Role Is Right for You
As a Sales Manager in our Issuing business, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of one of our most strategic and high-impact initiatives, launching new products for advanced digital issuing into the Swedish market, leading the hunting sales effort.

Our offering covers value-added services such as fraud management, disputes management, digital onboarding, customer value management, and data insights, as well as vertical digital issuing solutions, fully managed by Nexi, which allows banks, financial institutions, and corporates to offer a seamless card issuing experience - fast, scalable, and fully compliant.


About Your Future Role
You will be responsible for introducing Nexi’s offerings to the Swedish market, and responsible for the strategic commercial development of the market in line with our company goals.

You’ll build strong relationships, identify and deliver new business opportunities, and position Nexi as the trusted partner for card issuing.

In addition, you will work in a strong and motivated International and multicultural team.

In this position, you will focus on:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and implement the local commercial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and oversee market expansion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with executives to shape long-term commercial vision and direction.

Sales Management

  • Strong hunting attitude and compelling sales drive to achieve revenue targets.
  • Set sales goals, monitor performance, and optimize sales processes.
  • Develop pricing strategies.

Customer Experience & Development

  • Support consistent and high-quality customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Develop strategies to improve customer revenue, profitability, satisfaction, and loyalty.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and new business opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations and relationship management with new clients and partners.

Revenue Growth & Profitability

  • Drive top-line revenue growth while maintaining or improving profit margins.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, finance, operations, and HR to ensure commercial goals are supported across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, branding, and communication to have the same strategic view and execution in the Region
  • Ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and sales objectives.
  • Analyze local market trends and customer insights to guide marketing initiatives
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.(INSERT 5-7 RESPONSIBILITIES).

Your background:

  • Significant years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in payments, banking, or financial services
  • Proven track record in new customer acquisition and managing full sales cycles
  • Experience with Cards as a Service, Payments as a Service, advanced digital issuing solutions or fintech platforms is a strong plus
  • Skilled in using CRM tools and digital sales methodologies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English and Swedish is an advantage
