Job Description

Role Responsibility

The Sales Manager – South India (OEM FRI, ETICS, Facade) will be responsible for developing and generating sales from new SWP OEMs, Roofing, ETICS and Facade contractors/customers. The role includes managing key accounts, conducting market mapping and potential assessment of targeted accounts, and generating qualified leads.

The candidate will build a strong pipeline of opportunities, contributing to overall business profitability and growth in India.

The position also involves representing ROCKWOOL at external conferences, delivering B2B presentations, and preparing and managing a robust project pipeline. The candidate will play a critical role in identifying and developing new customers, expanding market reach, and strengthening strategic relationships across the region.

Additionally, the role includes participation in technical seminars, exhibitions, presentations, and contractor training programs.

Key responsibilities and activities include, but are not limited to:

Customer Base – Develop a new customer base for the assigned segments, with a focus on project stakeholders, key accounts, contractors, and specifiers, in line with the area action plan and company objectives.

Market Share – Identify key projects and capitalize on regional opportunities to grow market share while operating within agreed price and margin targets. Drive sales growth within the scope of the role.

Sales Budget – Deliver invoiced sales and volume targets by securing an optimal mix of project, product, and volume business.

Sales Administration & Reporting – Provide required reports to the company as per agreed standards and frequency. Ensure accurate and timely sharing of market information.

Project Sales – Effectively track and report on an agreed number of projects, ensuring maximum conversion into invoiced sales from the project pipeline and specifications. Maintain a project pipeline of at least 3.5 times the budgeted value to support future growth.

Activity Plan – Ensure call plan activities align with team and company sales objectives. Maintain and update CRM and project files as per company norms.

Group Values and Professional Conduct – Demonstrate high levels of professionalism and competence, fostering commercial respect in alignment with group values.

Compliance with Guidelines – Operate within all company guidelines, including (but not limited to) those related to property, data security, and confidentiality.

Education :

Bachelors / master’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering

Languages :English, Hindi,

Other :Minimum 8-10 years of industrial experience in continuous process industry
