We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager for our Satellite Systems and Operations portfolio. This individual will spearhead the commercial development of our ground segment products and services, driving business growth for several business units. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of the space industry, a proven track record of closing deals successfully, and an extensive network within the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and network to expand our client base.
• Lead negotiations and close multiple-value deals, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, marketing, and operations, to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
• Represent Telespazio Germany at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.
• Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Mentor and guide junior sales team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of business development experience in the space industry, with a focus on satellite systems and ground segment operations.
• Proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets in a competitive market.
• Extensive network within the space sector, including relationships with key decision-makers and industry leaders.
• Strong understanding of the technical aspects of satellite systems and ground segment services.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
• Professional proficiency in the German language is a plus.
