You will be part of our Animal Biosolutions team, a cross-functional group of technical and commercial professionals dedicated to delivering innovative biosolutions for the animal industry. We work closely with customers, partners, and R&D colleagues to solve real production challenges, generate technical insights, and demonstrate product value through practical field application.

In this role, you will contribute directly to improving farm productivity, optimizing resource efficiency, and supporting more sustainable farming practices across China.

The Role & Your Impact

• Business Development & Sales
• Manage national sales and promotion of silage inoculants and probiotic solutions for ruminants
• Deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions across silage production (harvest, inoculation, compaction, feed-out)
• Develop combined biosolutions that improve efficiency and support low-carbon farming
• Market Strategy & Growth
• Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets
• Analyze regional farming practices and tailor market approaches across China
• Identify new business opportunities based on industry trends and evolving customer needs
• Key Account & Channel Development
• Build strategic partnerships with large-scale farming groups and key industry players
• Establish strong relationships with farm managers, nutritionists, and technical stakeholders
• Develop and enable distributor networks and ecosystem partnerships
• Technical Leadership & Market Influence
• Support customer training, field demonstrations, and technical seminars
• Strengthen Novonesis’ brand through industry engagement and knowledge sharing
• Monitor market trends, policies, and competitor activities to support innovation

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, Microbiology, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in sales or business development within feed additives, microbial products, or the ruminant sector
• Technical Expertise
• Strong understanding of silage production processes and inoculant applications
• Knowledge of rumen health, gut microbiology, and probiotic mechanisms
• Ability to translate technical insights into commercial value for customers
• Business & Market Knowledge
• Familiarity with the ruminant industry landscape in China
• Strong industry insight with ability to identify opportunities and address key customer challenges
• Personal Capabilities
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• High level of self-motivation and ownership
• Willingness to travel extensively across China

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

• Existing relationships with the industry
• Experience working with distributors and ecosystem partners
• Exposure to sustainability or low-carbon agricultural solutions
• Fluent English communication skills
