At the heart of Rome’s luxury district, the Fashion Sales Manager leads the team of Fashion Advisors at the CHANEL Boutique, a destination for elegance and refinement. This role combines strong stylistic instinct, client sensitivity, and deep knowledge of CHANEL’s history and vision. The Fashion Sales Manager’s consistent presence on the boutique floor is essential to reinforcing Fashion Advisors as ambassadors of CHANEL’s progressive style, establishing the boutique as a reference point for both local and international clients. Dedicated to delivering and developing an exceptional, highly personalized client experience, the Fashion Sales Manager works closely with the team to offer clients a unique journey into the world of CHANEL, celebrating a shared passion for the House’s products and heritage.

Leading the Fashion Advisors team to create an engaged and aspirational environment, delivering the ultimate client experience.
  • Ensuring the team understands and embodies the House’s strategy.
  • Empowering Fashion Advisors to build unique, personalized, authentic, and long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Managing the team in all aspects: recruitment, leadership, setting and monitoring individual objectives, performance management, and personalized coaching.
  • Fostering collective knowledge-sharing and collaboration with back-office teams.
  • Supporting team members’ individual growth through tailored development plans and training in partnership with Learning, Styling, and Marketing teams.
  • Upholding and promoting Chanel Vital Behaviours.

  • Coaching the team in House Style & Fashion expertise, creating unique client experiences through personalized style and luxury service recommendations.
  • Understanding the essence of each CHANEL collection and contributing actively to the boutique’s Buying Strategy.
  • Overseeing Fashion Advisors’ buying requests on behalf of clients, in line with the boutique’s buying strategy.
  • Acting as an ambassador for CHANEL’s style and values within the boutique, at client events, and in external engagements within Rome’s luxury and fashion sectors.
  • Ensuring the boutique’s sales floor reflects CHANEL’s standard of excellence, collaborating with the Operations Manager on maintenance and presentation.
  • Overseeing collection displays and window presentations in line with Visual Merchandising guidelines.
  • Maintaining staff grooming standards of excellence.
Driving business growth through solid sales and operational efficiency
  • Contributing to the definition and implementation of the annual boutique operational plan in alignment with House strategy.
  • Translating the boutique roadmap into concrete objectives for the sales team, monitoring execution, and responding with agility to changing needs.
  • Analyzing sales data and ensuring achievement of targets.
  • Using advanced clienteling techniques to drive sales and client loyalty.
  • Implementing initiatives to develop business and team performance.
  • Reporting regularly to the Boutique Manager on team activities and results.
  • Ensuring compliance with all boutique procedures and the Boutique Charter.
  • Planning team schedules for optimal sales floor coverage.
  • Managing client conflict with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Maintaining a forward-looking mindset, anticipating needs, and driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Implementing and providing feedback on new tools and services to continuously enhance the client experience and operational effectiveness.
