Work Environment
This is an on-site role within a luxury hotel or resort where Five-Star AudioVisual operates as an embedded audiovisual partner. The Sales Manager works closely with hotel sales, catering, and event teams, as well as internal operations teams, to support the successful planning and execution of events.
You represent Five-Star AudioVisual with professionalism, responsiveness, and a hospitality-first mindset.

Position Summary
The Sales Manager supports the sales efforts for an assigned hotel or resort, focusing on client relationships, event sales, and revenue generation. This role works closely with the Director and operations team to ensure events are properly scoped, sold, and executed to meet client expectations.
The Sales Manager plays a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, supporting new business opportunities, and delivering a seamless sales experience from initial inquiry through event completion.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Revenue Contribution
Support property-level revenue goals by managing incoming inquiries and assigned accounts
Assist in identifying new business opportunities through outreach and relationship building
Partner with hotel sales and catering teams to support group business and maximize AV revenue
Track sales activity and assist with forecasting and reporting
Client Relationships & Consultation
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, planners, and hotel partners
Participate in client consultations, site visits, and pre-conference meetings
Understand client needs and recommend appropriate AV solutions with guidance from leadership
Ensure a high level of responsiveness and service throughout the sales process
Event Sales & Coordination
Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts that align with client needs and event requirements
Ensure accuracy and clarity in all sales documentation
Coordinate with operations and production teams to support successful event execution
Assist in ensuring a smooth handoff from sales to operations
Collaboration & Team Support
Work closely with internal teams to support event success and client satisfaction
Maintain strong communication with operations, production, and hotel partners
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Professional Representation
Represent Five-Star AudioVisual in a professional and polished manner
Uphold company values, service standards, and brand expectations
Maintain a client-first, hospitality-driven approach in all interactions
Qualifications
Proven track record in AV sales, event production, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of AV equipment, technology, and live event production.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus.
