What you’ll do:

  • Enhance the profile of Purolite Resins in the marketplace.
  • Manage and develop existing accounts, in addition seek new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Implement agreed sales strategies and achieve objectives.
  • Serve as a close liaison with colleagues to enable the customer to receive efficient and effective services.
  • Solicit feedback on new potential business opportunities from leadership
  • Partner with finance and leadership to establish the annual sales budget.
  • Keep up to date with new developments within the business and industry.
  • Provide day to day technical and commercial support of the customer base, including:
  • Demonstrate technical competence in ion exchange product knowledge and applications
  • Troubleshoot customer problems
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Liaise and support other offices on product and client information.
  • Handle resin sample testing/sample requests
  • Maintain and distribute critical records e.g. visit reports, quotations listings, tech, service/sample requests
  • Maintain customer data in a CRM system.
  • Provide production planning input

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field
  • Ion exchange experience
  • 15 years of technical experience.
  • Ability to travel 60%
  • Previous people manager experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher.
  • Experience in relationship management and negotiation.
  • Strategic and global mindset.
  • Business acumen.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of pricing.
  • Collaborative and able to present, communicate, and drive for results.
  • Strong consulting, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
