Job Description

Job Purpose:

Main purpose is to leverage ADM’s unmatched portfolio by maintaining and continuously expanding our customer base. This role will focus on Plant based proteins sales (Soy & Pea proteins) with direct accounts in Eastern and Central Europe.The sales manager actively maintains and expands our food customer base, distributors, drives customer projects and builds a solid project pipeline for sustainable business results. Prospection and growth mindset are critical to be successful in this role.

Main Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for protein Accounts in Eastern Europe, including the support of ADM distributors
• Developing and implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies within the central EU market
• Creating and fulfilling own sales plans and budget on the basis of market plans
• Controlling all sales activities with existing and potential customers
• Establish and develop long-term customer relationships
• Monitoring the market and identify market potential
• Develop customer concepts in cooperation with product management, application and product development
• Collaborate closely with Protein technical sales team in order to develop new projects

Qualifications:

• Degree in any of the sciences, food science and/or technology
• Experience in the B2B food ingredients business, an understanding of market landscape in plant based protein business will be highly appreciated
• Application knowledge and commercial contacts to traditional and new plant proteins consuming industries, like Meat alternative, Meat extension, Bakery, Dairy alternative, Specialized Nutrition, Fermentation Process, Pet Food
• Flexible and willingness to travel regularly within the region (50%)
• Growth mindset and ability for prospection are critical in this role
• Fluent in English and Serbian, additional foreign languages would be beneficial
• Independent and structured work
• Enthusiasm, initiative and ability to work in dynamic environment
• Team spirit, result oriented and strong communication skills § Strong customer, service orientation and technology skills § Ability to connect and work within international matrix organization
