Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Sales Manager - PowerWave2 in Hodges, SC. Relocation assistance and sponsorship offered to eligible candidates currently residing in the United States.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Eaton’s Busway business is in a period of significant growth, with Busway & PowerWave 2 growing several orders of magnitude by 2030. The Sales Manager – PowerWave 2 will play a central leadership role in capturing that growth by driving profitable sales, market penetration, customer engagement, and competitive positioning for the PowerWave 2 product line. This role is responsible for leading major commercial opportunities from early customer engagement through quotation, negotiation, and order capture while ensuring strong alignment across sales, engineering, operations, and product line leadership. The position requires a highly customer-focused commercial leader who can translate market needs into winning strategies, strengthen Eaton’s position in key target segments, and help accelerate the continued growth of the Busway business.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead commercial strategy and execution for the PowerWave 2 business to achieve sales growth, price realization, product mix, and profitability objectives.
• Drive growth across key customers, channels, and target verticals by identifying high-value opportunities and converting them into profitable business.
• Own major quotations, pricing strategy, commercial clarifications, and negotiation support to improve win rate and strengthen business quality.
• Drive sales attainment, schedule loading, and profitability for the PowerWave 2 and Non-Seg busway products
• Partner closely with engineering and technical resources to develop commercially effective and technically sound customer solutions.
• Work closely with the Product Manager to improve and optimize the product offering, align commercial priorities, and strengthen go-to-market strategy.
• Support field sales through customer presentations, technical-commercial guidance, competitive positioning, proposal support, and training.
• Maintain current awareness of market conditions, competitor activity, customer trends, and channel dynamics to improve Eaton’s market position and commercial strategy.
• Lead customer and channel discussions related to value proposition, application fit, delivery expectations, and differentiation versus competitive offerings.
• Drive responsiveness and cross-functional alignment on key opportunities to improve quotation turnaround, customer experience, and commercial execution.
• Participate in customer meetings, project reviews, witness tests, and issue-resolution discussions as needed to support business growth and customer confidence.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Engineer in support of stronger technical sales execution and customer responsiveness.
• Travel as needed to support strategic customer relationships, field engagement, and key business opportunities.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the electrical industry, engineering, sales, sales support, marketing, or product management involving technical products.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Seven (7) years of experience in the electrical industry, engineering, sales, sales support, marketing, or product management involving technical products.
• Prior electrical industry experience technical product experience strongly preferred
• Strong customer-facing experience in technical sales, product/application support, or commercial leadership roles.
• Experience with power distribution products, engineered assemblies, or complex technical quotations and negotiations.
• Experience working with tools such as Bid Manager, Mentor, Sales Reporting, and VISTA.
• Experience developing growth strategies through channel partners, field sales teams, and strategic customer relationships.
