Our client is a leading distributor of technology, services, and lifestyle products in Sub-Saharan Africa. They currently have an opening for a sales manager to be based in Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria.
Job Description

• Meeting & exceeding sales targets for the entire Sales Organization.
• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers across all verticals.
• Build strong relationships with all our current and prospective key OEMs
• Lead the Sales and marketing team in the Niger Delta Region in driving the business and orchestrating large deals across all OEMs.
• Make Telephone calls and in-person Visits to prospective customers.
• Research sources for developing prospective customers and for Information to determine their potentials.
• Develops clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
• Coordinate sales efforts with Marketing, Sales management, Accounting, Technology team and other departments of the company.
• Identify and acquiring new customers, as well as up-selling to the existing customer base across the organization.
• Effectively managing and driving the sales cycle from prospecting through to successful closure.
• Building up a sustainable and robust pipeline and ensuring accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning.
• Develop & implement sales strategies and plans to meet revenue goals.
• Prepare regular reports and conducting monthly meetings to review performance with the Sales Team.
• Analyze market trends and competitors’ activities in the Region.
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction as well as up-sell and cross-sell potential within existing customers to maximize share of wallet.
• Provide Leadership, coaching, and guidance to team members.
• Provide visible leadership within and outside of the Organization.
Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in similar position
• B.Sc/HND in any social science related courses
