A-Gas Americas is a major supplier of blowing agents to the foam insulation markets. We have continued to grow with the development of next-generation blowing agents, offering a variety of hydrocarbon products. The Sales Manager is responsible for the sales and growth of the organization's products and services in the Performance Chemicals business.

The Performance Chemicals Sales Manager is also responsible for sales, growth, and management of the Crusher refrigerant extraction business. The Crusher brings in service revenue by helping customers to dispose of unwanted MDI inhalers and auto cans, while at the same time extracting the refrigerant inside. This provides a disposal solution for the customer and a stream of recovered refrigerants for A-Gas.

Primary Place of Work:

Hybrid Remote/Office in Bowling Green, OH - 20% travel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executes strategic sales and growth plans to meet or exceed corporate goals
  • Meets annual sales plans, goals/objectives, budgets, and forecasts
  • Assists in the development of the Account Strategies to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
  • Develop Account Matrix and plan for cross selling through other SBUs
  • Reviews market analyses to provide input into customer needs, price schedules, and rates
  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products
  • Prepares and leads sales presentations to existing and new clients on why A-Gas is the right partner
  • Establish and maintain new and enhance existing business relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Provides guidance to our procurement and logistics specialist
  • Prepare monthly reports showing performance against agreed-upon objectives
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition and trends in the industry.
  • Any other task as reasonably required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in a related area
  • Prior experience in account management to multi-line manufacturers
  • Chemistry background and knowledge in Urethane's, Cyclopentane, Pentane Blends, HFCs, and HCFC were allowed under the Montreal Protocol preferred and/or ability to learn
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience leading a team
