As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth within the German market by identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and promoting software solutions that help mid-sized companies optimize and digitalize their business processes. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, combining commercial acumen with a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals in Germany.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through proactive market engagement and lead generation.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and needs assessment to proposal, negotiation, and contract finalization.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, and implementation teams to ensure solution alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and conferences to strengthen visibility and positioning.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates using CRM tools.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Proven experience in B2B software or ERP solution sales, ideally within the manufacturing or mid-market segment.
  • You are an experienced leader and have 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation and business process optimization.
  • Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with strong strategic and analytical capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all organizational levels.
  • Confident use of CRM systems and MS Office tools.
  • Native-level German and fluent English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Degree in Business Administration, Sales, IT, or a related discipline.
