Job Description

To strengthen our team, we are seeking a new team member in Italy to join us as soon as possible.

As a Sales Manager at Körber Pharma Software, you will drive sustainable revenue growth by acquiring new customers while developing and managing existing strategic accounts. You will play a critical role in expanding our footprint within the pharmaceutical manufacturing and life science ecosystem, leveraging our portfolio of software and service solutions.

This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role requiring a strong mix of hunter and farmer capabilities, strategic thinking, and consultative selling expertise.

Your role in our team

  • New Business Development (Primary Focus)
    • Identify, target, and win new customers across the pharma and life sciences sector
    • Build and execute a structured pipeline generation strategy
    • Lead complex, solution-based sales cycles from qualification to closing
    • Develop strong executive relationships with key decision-makers
  • Account Management & Growth
    • Own and expand a defined set of existing customer accounts
    • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the Körber portfolio
    • Drive customer success and long-term partnerships in collaboration with delivery and customer success teams
    • Act as the trusted advisor for digital transformation initiatives
  • Sales Execution & Forecasting
    • Deliver against annual and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
    • Maintain high-quality CRM hygiene (Salesforce) and accurate forecasting
    • Manage deal strategy, pricing, negotiation, and contract closure
  • Market Engagement
    • Represent Körber at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings
    • Provide market feedback to shape product strategy and positioning

Your profile

  • 5–10+ years of experience in B2B enterprise software sales
  • Proven track record in new business acquisition (“hunter mentality”)
  • Strong experience in account management and revenue expansion
  • Industry knowledge in pharma and life sciences
  • Experience selling complex, high-value solutions
  • Demonstrated success in multi-stakeholder, long sales cycles
  • Strong consultative and value-based selling approach
  • Fluent Italian and English language skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to operate at C-level and influence decision-making
  • High level of self-motivation and ownership mindset
  • Analytical and structured approach to pipeline management
  • Team-oriented, collaborative mindset
