
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the financial success of an assigned regional sales territory in accordance with the sales and marketing parameters necessary for the continued growth.
Achieves sales levels set forth by company to meet annual targets.
Achieves gross profit levels set forth to assure company and regional growth on an annual basis.
Maintains and manages an effective distribution network for the regional customer base.
Develops and maintains good intra-regional working relationships.
Conducts meetings with personnel for purposes of meeting goals and objectives.
Staff and trains regional sales force.
Directs the development of annual territory objectives and goals in conjunction with marketing.
Completed joint sales calls to each territory to maintain a corporate link with the account base.
Schedules, plans, and conducts regional sales meetings.
Conducts market research programs on a regional basis.
Maintains presence with various industrial societies.
Completes quarterly reports.
Ensures compliance with all company policies and all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to: Brenntag Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Antitrust Compliance Policy, Confidentiality Agreement, DOL, EEOC etc.
Supports the vision and mission of the company.
Ability to travel up to 50%
Ability to develop sales and margin forecasts
Knowledge of financial statements
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent follow-up skills
Self-motivated and task oriented
Five years of sales experience
Three years of supervisory experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or relevant field
Master’s Degree preferred
