Your mission
Be part of the Bids and Business Development team of Thales Alenia Space in Switzerland
Identify and capture business opportunities in-line with the product and capability portfolio assigned, in the following markets:
oESA;
oESA PRODEX, requiring interactionalso with Swiss universities and R&D organizations;
oSpace and Mission Prime large and small companies;
oExport Markets within Thales Alenia Space;
With the assigned perimeter, interact on regular basis with the key stakeholders in TAS organization such asTAS / Thales Sales Team, Key Account managers, Product Line Managers, Capture Teams, Bid Teams
oIdentify and capture new product development opportunities
oIdentify new product opportunities
oDevelop and present the business case
Contribute to secure development funding from public sector (such as ESA programs or Horizon Europe) or customers
Initiate and oversee the Proposal preparation linked to the identified business opportunities
Initiate the proposal process ( Gate 0 / Gate 1) and either manage the hand-over to the proposal capture leaderor act as the appointed capture leader
Support the proposal capture leader and bid team until contract signature, during the proposal preparation with customer interaction, value proposition, customer need identifications etc
Inthe frame of bid:
oAct as capture manager
oResponsible for the Bid milestone implementation
o Responsible for the execution of the gates and the preparation of the gates data
oValidation of gates data package prepared by other team members
oPreparation and/or validation of pricing information
oLead bid negotiations up to contract signature
Capture leader and responsible for business development for radiation monitors package
We look forward to that
You hold a Degree in Space or Electronic/Electrical Engineering
5years of experiences of working in business development or sales activitiesfor space
Very good communication and presentation skills, strong ability in elevator-speech
Ability to understand the needs of the counterpart and in adapting to different counterpart styles and needs
Strong self-organization ability, pro-active attitude, strong in planning activities and executing accordingly
Comfortable in working with evolving boundaries and easy to re-configure the work-plan accordingly
Very good in networking within the Thales Alenia Space organization, with partners, competitors, agencies and funding stakeholders
English fluently(working language), ofadvantage communication ability inFrenchandItalian
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Existing network into ESA and/or other relevant Agencies is a plus
