Job Description

Drive the execution of the E-commerce Sales Plans by closely working with distributors, identify and set up new distributors and stores for PDD business development. Work with global Ecommerce team and cross-functional support teams internally to ensure growth plans are delivered. Deliver the yearly Revenue, Profit and Operating Income & traffic target set for PDD and relevant platforms etc. under annual strategic Sales Plans. Ensure strategic initiatives are implemented on time and within trade marketing budget. Monitor market developments, new technical trends and propose new opportunities / new projects for business consideration. Work closely with legal teams or 3rd party to clear the counterfeit products on PDD platform.

Sales Forecasting & Analysis

  • Provide forecasts into the prescribed forecast models and achieve forecast accuracy as per set targets
  • Tracks and analyzes forecast for monthly reviews
  • Monitors and proposes appropriate action to highlight excess / non-moving inventories. Targets agreed stock levels

Business & Sales Management

  • Supports achievement of budgeted Shipments, distributor in-market-sales, inventory levels and in market execution
  • Proposes Annual Initiatives Master Plan. Supports Implementation and KPI delivery.
  • Monitors and tracks in-market-sales performance and recommends corrective action.
  • Helps implement Trade visibility and display programs as per agreed Strategy
  • Recommends and supports the planning of product launch programs and helps implement.

Trade and Competition Insights

  • Keeps track of key accounts developments to enhance Duracell’s position as the recognized category leader
  • Collates and reports competitive activities and information and provide feedback

Distributor & Third-Party Relationships - plans and execution:

  • Leads & Execute the Joint Business Planning with the Distributor. Reviews progress of JBP and agreed KPIs on regular basis.
  • Leverages distributor scale to maximize channel coverage and optimize sales fundamentals implementation
  • Works with and supports distributor sales force to ensure agreed objectives are met. Review distributor performance monthly

Builds Distributor/3rd party Capability in following areas:

  • Duracell Business Model, Category expertise, brand visibility, Channel expertise
  • Actively ensures that Distributor’s Sales Teams possess Best-in-class levels of knowledge and skills to achieve planned objectives
  • Updates distributor personnel on product knowledge, builds capability via trainings, on route coaching and feedback

Processes, Business Planning and Reporting

  • Monthly letter to cover fundamentals and market dynamics (incl. competition). Regular Business Updates on business plans, KPIs, P&Ls, promo calendars, activity grids and reports
  • Prepare and submit Annual Business Plans / Budget Updates
  • Manages & reports all relevant expenditure, e.g. trade spend and ensures the best utilization of trade fund within agreed budgets

Others:

  • Brings Distributor recommendations forward to the Sales Manager regarding investments, brand expansion, route-to-market across the markets in charge
  • Drives effectiveness - Distributor reporting systems and process interface
  • Compliance and stewardship

• 5+ years’ experience
• Experienced in TP management or PDD business.
• E-commerce experience in FMCG industry
• In-depth insights of the standard through SEM with good case study
• Proven track record in Ecommerce business growth
• Experience in managing Social EC channel will be preferred
• Consistently demonstrate ethical behaviors and integrity beyond reproach
• Demonstrates ownership and strong business acumen
• Leadership skills - goals oriented, strategic thinking, influencing skills and negotiation
• Planning, organizing and hands on excellent execution
• Good problem solving and decision making skills (amidst ambiguity)
• Strong communication skill and the ability to influence and lead key stakeholders

• Possesses very strong negotiation & communication skills
• Ability to communicate well in Mandarin and English (verbally & written)
• Demonstrate very strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail

• Demonstrates the ability to deliver on objectives, across functions and in challenging circumstances

• Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (Intermediate/Advanced level)
