We are currently looking for a full-time (40 hours/week), permanent team member for our office in Geneva
In this role, you will play a key role in one of our B2B trade fairs right from the start and act as a link between exhibitors and the event. You will be part of a dynamic, flexible and competent team working together to ensure the success of the trade fairs. Your tasks:
Sales & Growth: Responsibility for sales at an industrial trade fair (B2B), working closely with your sales colleagues, the marketing team and project management
New Business: Actively acquiring new clients via telephone, online channels, industry events and competitive formats
Key Account Management: Strategic support for key exhibitors, including professional communication across all touchpoints
Relationship Management: Building and personally maintaining long-term customer relationships before, during and after the event
Negotiation & Closing: Preparing Quotation, conducting negotiations and supporting the process through to contract conclusion
Target Achievement: Responsibility for achieving sales targets (exhibition space, marketing packages and sponsorship), including budget targets
Data & CRM: Maintaining and developing your client portfolio in the CRM system (Salesforce)
Market & Trends: Identifying industry trends and new topics to strengthen our event community
Your profile:
• Initial experience in sales, preferably in a B2B or service sector environment
• You enjoy building active networks and working independently within a motivated team
• Excellent written and spoken French and English, ideally also German language skills
• A confident and professional manner when speaking with decision-makers
• Strong organizational skills, a structured approach to work and a willingness to reliably carry out administrative tasks
• High level of self-motivation, drive to succeed, ability to close deals and a genuine enthusiasm for sales
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and common sales tools for customer data management
• Willingness to travel to our events and networking functions
