Job Role

The Thailand Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the company's sales operations, channel development initiatives, and market expansion activities across Thailand. This role carries full responsibility for achieving sales targets, strengthening distribution coverage, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring effective execution of commercial strategies within both modern and traditional trade channels.

Working closely with regional leadership and local stakeholders, the successful candidate will lead a high-performing sales team while driving market penetration, optimizing retail execution, and supporting sustainable business growth. The position requires a hands-on commercial leader with strong knowledge of Thailand's FMCG landscape and proven experience managing sales teams within competitive consumer goods environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, market share growth, and distribution expansion objectives across Thailand.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retail chains, and key commercial partners.
  • Manage and optimize channel performance across modern trade, traditional trade, and other relevant sales channels.
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to support commercial decision-making.
  • Drive in-store execution initiatives including product visibility, merchandising standards, promotional activities, and point-of-sale effectiveness.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop market expansion plans to strengthen the company's presence across Thailand.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the local sales team while ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance expectations.
  • Manage sales budgets, forecasting activities, performance reporting, and operational planning processes.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support product launches, customer engagement initiatives, and business growth programs.
  • Ensure effective implementation of company policies, sales processes, and commercial best practices throughout the organization.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial management roles within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience managing sales teams and leading commercial operations at a managerial level.
  • Strong background within frozen foods, ice cream, dairy products, beverages, perishable goods, or related FMCG categories.
  • Demonstrated experience managing distributors, wholesalers, retail accounts, and channel development initiatives within Thailand.
  • Strong understanding of Thailand's FMCG market, trade channels, customer dynamics, and distribution networks.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, drive revenue growth, and achieve business targets.
  • Experience in key account management, distributor management, trade marketing execution, and market expansion activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and business performance indicators.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced and target-driven environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Thailand to support sales operations, customer engagement, and market development activities.
  • Professional fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multinational stakeholders and manage local commercial operations within Thailand.
