Role Purpose
We are looking for a Sales Manager to ignite and grow Prysmian’s telecom business across Sweden and Denmark. This is your opportunity to build a rock-solid, long-term market presence from the ground up – turning ambitious targets into real, sustainable revenue and lasting customer partnerships.
As a true individual contributor and territory owner, you will take full ownership of strategy, execution, and results. You will forge powerful relationships with telecom operators, broadband providers, installers, contractors, enterprises, and distributors – becoming their trusted advisor and the go-to expert for next-generation fiber and connectivity solutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales plans to grow revenue and market share in Sweden and Denmark
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer projects.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
Act as local telecom expert for Prysmian’s optical fiber, connectivity, and multimedia solutions
Prepare proposals, tenders, technical presentations, and demos
Manage pipeline and CRM with daily updates and proactive follow-up
Travel ~70% to customers and sites in Sweden, Denmark (occasional Nordics)
Utilize regional sales support, technical teams, and factories to maximize impact
Take full responsibility for the development and growth of the telecom business in Sweden.
What We’re Looking For
Proven B2B sales success in telecom cables, optical fiber, connectivity solutions, networking infrastructure, or closely related technical fields
A strong track record of consistently exceeding targets, winning new logos, and closing complex, project-based deals
Genuine technical curiosity and the ability to confidently explain fiber specifications, connectivity architectures, installation benefits, and total-cost-of-ownership advantages to engineers and C-level stakeholders alike
Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
Fluency in English + Swedish
Good CRM skills and comfort using data to drive decisions
Self-starter mindset: you thrive with high autonomy and love owning your territory end-to-end
