Job Description

Constance Hospitality is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager – DACH Market to strengthen our presence across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The role represents a portfolio of 11 hotels and resorts across two distinctive brands: Constance Hotels & Resorts and C Resorts.

This opportunity is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys working independently, developing strong business relationships and being close to the market, while being part of an international hospitality group with a human-scale culture and close collaboration between teams.

Our German office is based in Eschborn, near Frankfurt. Depending on your place of residence, the position may be hybrid or fully remote, with regular meetings and travel across the DACH region.

Your Role:

You will support the commercial development and visibility of our 11 hotels and resorts across the German-speaking markets, with a strong focus on business development, account management and trade engagement.

You will report directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing – German-Speaking Markets and work closely with the Sales & Marketing team at Constance Head Office in Mauritius.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to travel agents, tour operators and other business partners for training and business development purposes.
• Deliver product training and presentations on the Constance Hotels & Resorts and C Resorts portfolio.
• Represent both brands at consumer and travel trade fairs, roadshows, workshops and industry events.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the 11 hotels and resorts in order to respond to partner enquiries relating to contracts, allocations, special offers, incentives and other commercial matters.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key tour operators, travel agents, tourist boards, airlines, media and other business partners.
• Identify business opportunities and implement actions to support sales growth across the market.
• Take ownership of key tour operator accounts, including target setting, cooperative marketing initiatives and regular follow-up of business performance.
• Manage key airline relationships and support the organisation and hosting of educational and familiarisation trips to our hotels and resorts.
• Support or lead the organisation of client events, corporate hospitality activities, trade dinners, consumer events and hotel launches.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and commercial performance.
• Analyse monthly room and revenue reports, booking trends, forward bookings, revenue performance and cost of sales.
• Prepare regular monthly and annual activity reports, including market and competitor analysis.
• Manage monthly expenses in line with company procedures and agreed budgets.
• Contribute to trade communications, including webinars, newsletters and other B2B initiatives.

Qualifications

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

We are looking for someone who is commercially driven, organised and confident working with a high level of autonomy. You should bring:

• At least 4 years of experience in hospitality, tourism or travel, ideally in sales or business development.
• Previous experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar regional sales role.
• Experience in hotel sales, tour operating, luxury travel or destination sales.
• Good knowledge of the DACH travel market and its key players.
• Proven ability to develop accounts, build relationships and deliver commercial results.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
• French would be an advantage.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organisation and reporting discipline.
• A proactive, dynamic and target-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams in different locations.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly.
