Job Description

Central Studio Hotel Sydney, part of Naumi Group is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Sales role to drive business success.

Fabulously located, amongst a playground of options; from the vibrant University scene to the cool of the Powerhouse Museum, Darling Square connecting us to Circular Quay in Darling Harbour and the shopping of George Street, Central Studio Hotel Sydney is perfectly positioned for guests to immerse themselves in the Harbour City's iconic attractions.

We are after a passionate and innovative BDM professional who can build further and take clients on a journey of discovery which includes fun, excitement and a different way of thinking. You should be able to represent our brand and come with solid industry relationships and demonstratable sales conversions. You will be expected to build key relationships and drive revenue in all markets.

What you will be doing…

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key clients.
  • Participate in sales & travel trade missions, corporate blitzes as outlined in the annual sales plans.
  • Canvass across all key market segments - notably Corporate, MICE, Entertainment, Sports and Govt.
  • Research and define new revenue niche markets.
  • Assist Sales team with annual sales plans.

What we're looking for…

  • 3+ years of solid hotel sales experience ideal.
  • Strong relationship building skills and be able to build on pre-existing relationships to target and convert business
  • Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Self-starter, motivated and entrepreneurial.
  • Creative thinker who is highly organised, detailed and focused.
