Job Title: Sales Manager – Cards
Department: Cards Division
Location: Tampoi, Johor Bahru
Reporting to: Head, National Cards Sales
Job Purpose:
To drive credit card sales through effective planning, recruitment, training, and supervision of sales teams or partners. Responsible for achieving sales targets, managing acquisition channels, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly and annual credit card sales targets.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales executives or outsourced sales partners.
- Monitor daily performance, pipeline, and productivity to ensure optimal results.
- Identify and develop new sales channels or partnership opportunities.
- Conduct training and coaching to ensure team members understand product features, compliance, and sales techniques.
- Work closely with marketing, product, risk, and operations teams to ensure smooth end-to-end customer acquisition.
- Manage and ensure compliance with BNM, regulatory, and bank’s internal policies during the sales process.
- Prepare sales performance reports and provide market feedback to improve product and process.
- Handle escalated customer or partner issues related to card sales or onboarding.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit card sales or consumer banking, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of credit card products, sales channels, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and drive sales teams to exceed targets.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- High integrity and commitment to compliance.
