Job Description

As the Sales Manager for Business Banking, you will play a pivotal role in driving the bank's business growth and expanding its market share. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, ensuring they meet their targets and provide exceptional service to our business clients. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients. This role requires a results-driven individual with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the bank's business banking portfolio.
  • Identify new business opportunities and prospects, targeting key industries and sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics, providing insights to the team for effective sales approaches.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience, including cross-selling bank products and services.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary actions.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with the sales team, providing feedback and coaching for development.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and bank policies, maintaining a high standard of ethical conduct.
  • Represent the bank at industry events and conferences, networking and building relationships with potential clients.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of business banking products and services, including loans, deposits, and treasury management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes and attend industry events.
