Job Description Summary

As part of the Saudi Cluster Commercial team, the Sales Manager (Grid Automation) will be responsible for driving Orders and CCM within the assigned sub-region (Saudi Arabia and Bahrain). Reporting to the Sub-Region Sales Director, you will act as the prime interface for Grid Automation (GA) Sales and Commercial activities.

This role focuses on the GA portfolio, including Substation Protection, Substation Automation, MnD and Critical Infrastructure Communications. You will play a critical role in forming and deploying sales strategies, go-to-market plans, and key account management to ensure pipeline visibility and achievement of operating plan targets.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Execution: Formulate and execute proposal strategies, including deal structuring, pricing, and proposal development.
  • Sales Growth: Actively target and close deals Bahrain and Pakistan. Proactively create pipelines to ensure volume of opportunities aligns with the Operating Plan.
  • Collaboration: Serve as the prime GA interface for Sales and Commercial teams. Work cross-functionally with GA Tendering, Operations, Growth, and Sales Operations to achieve assigned targets. Coordinate effectively with other Grid Solutions Sales teams within the region.
  • Commercial Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of sales territories, product lines, and market dynamics to execute strategies. Identify new opportunities in collaboration with functional partners.
  • Problem Solving: Use analytical thinking and sound judgment to address complex, day-to-day problems regarding projects, markets, and customer requirements.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Lead small projects and facilitate consensus within the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 10 years of Technical experience in Grid Automation portfolio and similar products, specifically within the GCC/KSA market.
  • Proven experience in cross functional collaboration.
  • Fluency in English Language

Desired Characteristics

  • Arabic language is an advantage
  • Sales experience is preferable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize information for effective decision-making.
  • Awareness of market competition and key differentiators.
  • Capability to convey performance expectations and handle complex stakeholder issues.
