What The Position is About:

• Oversee a team of two sales reps to achieve sales targets and increase revenue
• Achieve or exceed sales goals by calling on OEMs and distributors within the assigned territory
• Recruit, hire, and train the sales roster
• Coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team
• Conduct check-ins and ride-alongs with the sales reps
• Create and maintain strong relationships with new customers while building loyalty with existing customers
• Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Develop and deliver sales presentations, perform hands-on demonstrations and training, and close sales
• Work with distribution partners on pull-through sales
• Represent and promote the company by participating in professional industry associations and attending industry events
• Monitor sales metrics and performance, and provide regular feedback to the sales team
• Commit to continuous learning and knowledge of the company’s products and maintain up to date on industry trends and developments that may affect the market

The Right Candidate Will Have:

• 7+ years of outside sales experience within the building materials industry
• Proven sales management experience (2+ direct reports)
• Cabinetry, millwork, and/or laminate fabrication experience
