Job Description

Role Purpose
The Sales Representative – After Market Services is responsible for developing, selling and managing Service Level Agreements (SLA), Mutual Value Creation Agreements (MVCA) and spare parts for biogas installations for any installed base or new customers.
The role focuses on building long-term customer partnerships, securing recurring revenues, and maximizing the market value that could be generated over the full lifecycle of Pentair’s installed assets thanks to service contracts, digital services, performance-based schemes, and mutual value-creation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Sales Responsibilities
• Be responsible and accountable for the sustainable growth of the aftermarket sales portfolio including:
o Service Level Agreements (SLA)
o Mutual Value Creation Agreements (MVCA)
o Critical and non-critical spare parts
o Extended services (24/7 support, data services, performance schemes, escrow services)
• Proactively identify SLA and MVCA opportunities within the installed base (new plants, SLA renewals, scope expansions).
• Lead customer discussions on long-term service strategies, focusing on reliability, availability, Total Cost of Ownership, and performance improvement.
• Prepare, negotiate, and close commercial offers for SLAs, MVCA programs, spare parts packages, and consignment stock agreements trying to reach enhanced margins vs past.
• Actively promote recurring revenue models and performance-based agreements aligned with customer operational priorities.
• Any other task that may be required from time to time or linked to a change of environment.
SLA & MVCA Ownership
• Be fully accountable for the end-to-end SLA sales cycle, including:
o Scope definition (preventive, corrective, digital, performance services)
o Pricing models (fixed fees, indexing, bonus/malus mechanisms)
o Contractual alignment with legal, service and finance teams
• Position and sell MVCA offerings based on:
o Performance improvement
o Availability and reliability enhancement
o Energy efficiency, optimization and data-driven services
o Shared value and bonus/malus mechanisms
• Ensure SLA and MVCA offers are operationally executable, aligned with service capabilities and customer obligations.
Critical Spare Parts & Consignment Stock
• Drive sales of critical spare parts, retrofit parts and consumables required to secure plant uptime.
• Propose and manage consignment stock solutions, including:
o Definition of critical parts list
o Stock holding fees
o Contractual rules linked to SLA duration or termination
• Coordinate closely with After Sales, Supply Chain and Service teams to ensure availability, pricing accuracy, and delivery commitments.
Customer Relationship Management
• Act as the main commercial point of contact for aftermarket customers.
• Build trusted relationships with customer decision makers (Operations, Maintenance, Technical) but also at senior management levels.
• Support service execution when required (kick-off meetings, performance reviews, SLA follow-ups).
Funnel & Performance Management
• Manage and maintain an accurate aftermarket sales funnel (SLA renewals, new SLAs, MVCA opportunities, spare parts).
• Deliver sales forecasts and reporting for AOP, forecasting and SIOP activities.
• Be accountable for achieving annual revenue targets related to SLA, MVCA and spare parts.
Internal Coordination & Compliance
• Work closely with:
o Service Operations
o Technical Experts
o Digital & Data teams
o Legal, Finance and Sales Operations
o General management to support Monthly Business Review reporting
• Ensure strict compliance with:
o Pentair sales processes
o Contract approval and gate-keeping rules
o Export control, ethics and compliance standards

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental) or equivalent technical background.
• Minimum 5 years experience in technical B2B sales, aftermarket services, or industrial service contracts.
• Proven experience in the Biogas environment with strong network connection on the market.
• Proven experience in selling recurring revenue services, service contracts, or long-term customer agreements.
• Strong commercial understanding combined with technical awareness of biogas systems.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
