The role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead and develop the residential sales operation at the Aylesbury branch. This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong sales background who enjoys motivating teams, driving performance and delivering outstanding results.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day success of the sales department, ensuring a strong market presence, consistent revenue growth and excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the branch sales department
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of sales negotiators and support staff
- Drive new business through valuations, instructions and networking
- Carry out market appraisals and convert valuation opportunities into instructions
- Monitor and report on KPIs, sales targets and team activity
- Hold regular one-to-ones and performance reviews with team members
- Ensure outstanding customer service at every stage of the sales process
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the local property market and competitor activity
- Ensure all processes comply with current property legislation and company standards
- Work collaboratively with other departments to maximise cross-selling opportunities
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in residential property sales, ideally as a Sales Manager or Senior Negotiator
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation ability
- Target-driven with a strong commercial mindset
- Thorough knowledge of the sales process and property legislation
- The ability to lead by example and build a high-performance culture
- A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle (essential)
Working hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:45am – 6:00pm
- Friday: 8:45am – 5:30pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 10:00am – 3:00pm
