Job Description

Responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer accounts, and driving sales growth within the assigned market. The role involves building strong customer relationships, preparing quotations, negotiating commercial terms, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure successful order fulfilment, and providing excellent after-sales support. The incumbent is also responsible for monitoring market trends, identifying business opportunities, and contributing to the achievement of the Company's sales and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop business for gold/silver/bronze (high) accounts, incl. basket/ product selling, cross-selling and value-based pricing.
  • Build strong customers relationship with existing customers and develop new customers.
  • Complete monthly sales forecasting using internal forecasting software.
  • Complete all internal training and comply with all Brenntag's policies/guidelines.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth deliveries / projects execution.
  • Execute customer visits, prepare, coordinate, negotiate, close proposals, respond to RFQs.
  • Identify customer potential and plan to monetize.
  • Identify, prioritize and convert prospect business using salesforce.
  • Manage inventories, receivables and customers' complaints.
  • Participate in customers' tender and follow through the internal approvals till contracts finalization.
  • Perform any other new task request by manager.
  • Plans on closing budget gaps and meeting yearly budget set.
  • Prepare all call reports after customers/suppliers/internal meetings.
  • Update key information from markets/customers to internal team promptly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Chemical Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the chemical distribution or related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing large customer accounts
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Business acumen with the ability to develop pricing and margin strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and work cooperatively with colleagues
  • Independent and possess strong ability to seek out new sales accounts and grow the revenue pipeline and manage key customers
