About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development and sales activities, drive revenue growth, and expand the organization's client base. The role involves developing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, leading the sales team, and identifying new business opportunities while ensuring the achievement of sales targets and long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Growth
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth objectives.
Identify new business opportunities across corporate, government, education, and institutional sectors.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and service solutions.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.
Sales Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Set sales objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations.
Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance reviews.
Foster a high-performance and customer-focused sales culture.
Sales Operations & Deal Management
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with clients.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer onboarding.
Market Development & Partnerships
Develop strategic partnerships with corporate clients, educational institutions, and business partners.
Represent the company at exhibitions, networking events, and industry conferences.
Identify opportunities for strategic alliances and business collaborations.
Expand the company's market presence across target industries.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and revenue projections.
Monitor sales performance and analyze key performance indicators.
Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems.
Provide regular business updates and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Education, or a related field.
Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) is an advantage.
5–10 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
Experience in education, professional training, technology, consulting, or corporate services is preferred.
Proven track record of consistently achieving sales and revenue targets.
