About the Role

Destination Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead revenue growth across our diverse hospitality portfolio. This pivotal role involves cultivating strategic partnerships, meticulously managing key accounts, proactively identifying new business avenues, and optimizing sales across rooms, events, and corporate segments. You will collaborate closely with hotel operations and marketing teams to ensure ambitious revenue targets are met and exceeded, all while delivering unparalleled client experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading hospitality group in some of Thailand's most sought-after destinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and surpass ambitious revenue targets for the assigned portfolio.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities from corporate clients, travel trade partners, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) organizers, and leisure segments.
  • Cultivate, manage, and expand strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, strategic partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct persuasive sales calls, engaging presentations, thorough site inspections, and skillful contract negotiations to secure business.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, analyze competitor activities, and identify emerging business opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate effectively with marketing and operations teams to maximize occupancy rates, average daily rates, and overall revenue generation.
  • Prepare accurate and insightful sales forecasts, detailed reports, and performance analyses to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Represent Destination Group professionally at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience specifically within the hospitality, hotel, resort, or tourism sectors.
  • Possession of a strong and established network within the corporate, travel trade, or hospitality sectors in Thailand.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages commonly spoken by international travelers is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Thailand and potentially internationally as required by business needs.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales management tools.
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach to sales and business development.
