Become a part of the ServiceMaster team as a Sales Representative responsible for prospecting and securing new commercial cleaning accounts throughout the area. Our company strives to create cleaner and healthier environments for our customers by offering a high level of service using quality cleaning products and processes. As a ServiceMaster team member, you belong to a complete team of people from Operations to Human Resources that works together to deliver the best solutions and customer service to our customers.
Job Responsibilities

· Prospects and develops new sales leads in assigned verticals.
· Continually builds product knowledge and refines sales techniques for specific relationship types and verticals.
· Prepares documents for job file reviews with current and prospective clients.
· Documents and reports on key referral-source relationships weekly and monthly
· Develop an annuals sales plan for territory including target accounts.
· To systematically seek out opportunities to promote our services within the target market.
· Plan prospective call for the most efficient use of time.
· Generate the monthly computer invoicing for all service and supply sales of the company.
· Develop a sales pipeline.

Education

· To study and acquire complete knowledge of services provided by company, or within your sales area of expertise.
· Study, interpret and apply every opportunity for self-development, including reading appropriate trade magazines.
· Be alert to changing business conditions including competitive activities and market trends.

Job Requirements

· High school graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred.
· 1-2 years’ experience in the cleaning service field
· 6-12 months of sales experience or prior sales training is highly desired, but not required.
· Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record
· Good verbal and written and communication skills.
· Good customer service skills
· Highly motivated, strong work ethics, and enjoy the selling process.
· Build rapport easily and establish trust, leading to lasting customer relationships.
· Can effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups
· Has a good aptitude for basic math—necessary for doing calculations related to the sales process.
· Local and regional travel may be required for trade shows, training, networking events and for selling services.
· Some work required outside of traditional working hours to network and represent the company at business social events.
· Skilled using social media and other web-based sales tools.

Compensation

· Compensation for this position is set up in a conventional form that is based on a low base salary and high commission. Earning potential is determined by the effort and successful results of securing and closing new accounts.

Compensation: $40,000.00 per year
