Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead our Water Mechanical Products business in Norway. In this role, you will play a key part in executing our regional strategy, driving sustainable growth, and leading a high-performing sales organization. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about developing teams and delivering results, this could be your next career move.

What you will do

Reporting to the Territory Sales Director, you will be part of the management team, responsible for the implementation and delivery of the commercial strategy and the overall performance of the sales organization.

You will be accountable for achieving revenue and margin targets for Water Mechanical Products within the Norway territory. Your direct reports will include inside sales, outside sales, and customer service, where you will foster a strong "one-team" approach.

In alignment with the wider EMEA regional strategy, you will define clear objectives for the team and set individual goals and priorities to deliver consistent year-on-year growth.

You will drive a performance-based culture by coaching and developing your team, embracing change, and supporting ongoing business transformation.

How you will do it

You will ensure that resources are effectively aligned with business objectives, focusing on the activities and priorities that generate the greatest return. A key part of your role will be to develop and strengthen the sales team’s capabilities in opportunity and pipeline management, enabling them to identify and pursue new project opportunities while enhancing their negotiation skills to successfully close deals.

You will be responsible for creating and implementing structured account plans for key and target customers, ensuring that each Salesperson has clear, actionable steps to increase wallet share. At the same time, you will establish a continuous and robust approach to identifying new opportunities, white space, and strategic initiatives, maintaining a clear view of both current market positioning and future growth potential.

Using Salesforce CRM, you will track and measure sales performance and activity, including customer engagements—both face-to-face and virtual—as well as pipeline development, conversion rates, and the effectiveness of account and coaching plans. Based on your understanding of the Nordic market, you will collaborate closely with Territory and Product Sales Directors to develop and implement effective pricing strategies.

In addition, you will build strong peer-level relationships with key customers, actively supporting your team in customer interactions and stepping in to manage escalations when necessary, ensuring consistent and professional customer experience.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior sales role, with a proven track record of delivering sales growth.
  • Demonstrated success in a consultative selling environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading and managing teams, including performance management, planning, and sales processes.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use market insights and data to make sound decisions and implement effective strategies.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, with a high level of forecasting accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across a matrix organization to drive alignment and problem-solving.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, provide clear direction, and foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Strong focus on continuous improvement, with the ability to identify performance gaps and drive development through structured coaching and feedback.
  • Resilience and adaptability to succeed in a results-driven, multinational organization.
  • Experience from the fire suppression industry or broader construction industry is highly preferred.
