About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager plays a key role in driving revenue and maximizing sales opportunities for Four Seasons Hotel Sydney across assigned market segments.

This position is responsible for developing new business, maintaining key client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives that support the hotel’s overall commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive corporate and group sales production in line with hotel revenue objectives
  • Develop and manage relationships with corporate accounts, event planners and industry partners
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively grow market share within assigned segments
  • Execute sales activities aligned with the hotel’s Marketing Plan and commercial strategy
  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, trade shows, and networking events
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Reservations teams to optimize business mix and performance
  • Support group lead generation, conversion, and account development initiatives
  • Maintain accurate account management, reporting, and pipeline tracking within company systems
  • Represent Four Seasons brand standards professionally while strengthening market presence and brand awareness
  • Achieve individual revenue targets and sales KPIs

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in hotel sales or a related commercial role within hospitality, travel, or luxury service industries
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships and generate new business opportunities
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team environment
  • Understanding of luxury hospitality service standards preferred
  • Flexibility to travel and attend client events as required
