We are looking for a talented Sales Manager to join our team specializing in Sales for our Meritor Aftermarket Department in Poland, Remote
We are seeking for a specialist with a proven track record within the Independent Aftermarket (IAM) , specifically a deep understanding of Heavy-Duty (HD) Truck axle and braking components to drive regional growth .
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Drive regional growth within the Independent Aftermarket by applying strong knowledge of Heavy-Duty truck axle and braking components to targeted account strategies.
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with assigned accounts, ensuring consistent alignment with customer and business objectives.
- Expand revenue by identifying new opportunities, growing existing accounts, and executing account sales plans in line with the overall business strategy.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring customer needs and feedback are clearly represented in internal decision-making.
- Improve customer satisfaction by measuring performance, analyzing data, and implementing action plans that lead to measurable improvements.
- Deliver strong commercial outcomes by negotiating contracts and payment terms within authorization levels while aligning pricing with business targets.
- Ensure reliable customer service by coordinating with internal teams to resolve production, distribution, inventory, and delivery challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency through participation in cost reduction initiatives and Customer Focus Six Sigma activities.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Strong customer-focused communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages and insights to different audiences.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and track account strategies, including forecasting and pipeline management.
- Solid commercial acumen, including contract negotiation, pricing alignment, and accounts receivable management.
- Technical and market credibility within the Independent Aftermarket, particularly in Heavy-Duty axle and braking systems.
- High proficiency in Excel and CRM tools to support data-driven decision-making, pipeline tracking, and performance analysis.
- Strong autonomy with an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, enabling proactive identification of growth opportunities and ownership of business outcomes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high performance and accountability.
Education/ Experience:
- College or university degree in marketing, sales, a technical field, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Significant relevant work experience in customer-facing and/or product-focused roles.
- Experience with purchasing or commercial contract negotiation preferred.
- Demonstrated track record within the Independent Aftermarket, with deep understanding of Heavy-Duty truck axle and braking components to support regional growth.
